A weekly plan for godliness – overview

9 March, 2018 by admin

Even the world recognises that “Failing to plan, is planning to fail.”

When it comes to godliness, this is no less true: “train yourself for godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.” (1 Tim 4:7b-8)

Make a plan to keep yourself spiritually fit in your daily godliness. If you have not yet got a plan, or would like to change it up a little, here is one that reflects a wide array of Biblical wisdom!

Monday: MEMORISE A VERSE

Tuesday: OBEY A COMMAND

Wednesday: MEDITATE ON THE WORD

Thursday: TEACH ANOTHER PERSON

Friday: PRAY A LITTLE LONGER

Saturday: DO SOMETHING ELSE

Sunday: GO TO CHURCH

Over the course of next week, each day’s exercise will be explained. These will take some training to get used to, so get a Christian friend to join you!

Train yourself for godliness
as it holds promise for the present life
and also for the life to come
