PRE-SERVICE PRAYER MEETING

Ask that the Lord will draw all believers today to set aside time for worship in spite of the various restrictions.
Praise the Lord that He is present everywhere, and that He hears our prayers.
Praise the Lord that He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, and rich in steadfast love.
Ask to Lord to cleanse you from all unrighteousness and restore the joy of a clean conscience and a forgiven heart so that you can worship Him in holiness today.

WELCOME

Today is “Church Day” again! Welcome to our church. Please use this service guide today to participate with us in the worship of God and the edification of the saints so that we can all go out into the world and be the light of Christ to those still in darkness.

OPENING PRAYER

Pray with us,

Lord, our faith is in You alone, for only You have the power to sustain us through this life and prepare us for eternity. Amen.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
  1. Please note that we will NOT be meeting during the month of June. Please pray as we discuss the possibilities and practical matters to be able to meet in July!
  2. Remember that we have many different ways of doing ministry under Lockdown, and that if you need the sermon or bulletin sent to you directly, to let the pastor know as he will gladly send it to you directly.
  3. Excel in your love to one another, and in your ministry to the world. Let us not waste this lockdown.
PASTORAL PRAYER

Our Heavenly Father,

Accept our worship today, for Jesus’ sake. Teach us from Your Word. Spur us on to even greater love for one another. Make us witnesses of You to the world around us. Make us as a Church, a testimony of spiritual family to the world. Help us as we care for family and friends in both spiritual and physical need. Give us the right words to say at the right times. May all that we do, result in praises of Your all-present, all-knowing, all-powerful love.

LORD, forgive us for every anxious thought and stressed response to life. We acknowledge that we cannot govern our lives without Your hand of blessing in all that we do. Help us to sense our dependence on You. As we lie down each night this week, remove from us the worries of the day and make us sleep peacefully, knowing that You will never leave or forsake us.

You are our Lord and our God, we have no good apart from you. We worship You, for Jesus’ sake, Amen.

SCRIPTURE READING AND PRAYER

Read Ephesians 4:1-16 out loud, and turn verses 2-3 into a prayer request, verse 7 into a prayer of praise, and verse 15 into a prayer of a personal commitment to pursue.

SINGING

Listen again to this new song we are introducing. Try and sing along as you become more familiar with it.

This last song transports us from the dark valleys of this world, to the day when all is resolved and we arrive in glory. Sing along with the joy and anticipation of our living hope!

Pray with us,

What a day that will be! Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus, Amen

Listen to the sermon live at 9:30 AM using this link: https://meet.google.com/sxt-fmfa-oyj. If you are unable to join us live, the sermon link below contains the sermon notes in reading format. The audio will be added after the live recording.

BENEDICTION

Our benediction comes in the form of a closing prayer,

Not to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever, Amen.
