*Updated 3 July, 2020

We will resume physical gatherings again on the 5th of July! Please read the handout to the congregation on what to expect to remain health-compliant.
If you are not part of our regular congregation and would like to visit, please contact us so we can ensure a health-sensitive place for you too.

Daily Devotional: Start the day with a daily devotional. Every weekday morning at 5am a short devotional will be posted for your spiritual nourishment and ministry to others. Occasionally an additional post will be posted throughout the day as the need for a particular matter arises.

WhatsApp Messages: Equip yourself with something to share with others by joining our pastor’s WhatsApp broadcast of short morning and evening thoughts to ponder.

Thursday 7:15pm Home-group: If you are able to join us online, we have a home-group online using Google Meet. The invitation link will be sent out on the WhatsApp group a few hours before the meeting. This is an opportunity to see one another, share briefly how you are doing, listen to a teaching from the Word of God, and pray together.

Q&A: Send your questions to the pastor using email (), WhatsApp, or text message ().

Sunday Service: Our 2 PM Sunday Service will be live-streamed for those who cannot attend (https://meet.google.com/sxt-fmfa-oyj). The sermon will be available in both a reading and an audio format to ensure each can participate at least in some way. A weekly bulletin in will be attached and contain some specific ways in which we can have fellowship under lockdown conditions. The bulletin will also contain a Bible reading plan, memorisation verse, and Bible knowledge challenge. If you would like the sermon notes and bulletin sent directly to you on WhatsApp, just let the pastor know.

We have a YouTube playlist with a selection of songs available on YouTube that match the lyrics and melodies that we use in our worship service. Please use it to direct your own worship of the Lord as well as to get to know the songs better for when we can again sing them together to our Lord. The playlist is available here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLP5L9IiLyN9tHHtry3Qkk15PUG6xUoOj5

Counselling: Our pastor is available for counselling over phone calls, SMS, WhatsApp, email, ZOOM, Google Meet, Facebook or Skype. Send him a message and he will be glad to get back to you.

Giving: All giving can be done through direct deposit or EFT into the following account. If you are able to contribute some additional funds as lockdown relief for those in need, please use the reference “lockdown”.

Branch Code: 250655
Cheque Account #:

Food aid: Please let us know if you are in urgent need of food and are unable to provide for yourself. The Lord has provided consistent income for some in our congregation. Inasmuch therefore as we can, we would love to help a brother or sister in need of some food.

What can I do to participate in the work of ministry during lockdown?

The answer to that is in many ways the same as you would if we had our normal meetings. Ephesians 4 draws the line of ministry work from Jesus the Giver of gifts, to the men ministering to the Church, to each part of the Church doing their part. Use what Christ, through the leaders of your church, serves you with, to serve others. Here are some suggestions.

To one another:

  • Contact a few of those in the church and ask how you can pray for them
  • Enquire from one another what each has learned in the daily devotions or Sunday service
  • Engage with one another on the Bible Knowledge Challenge in the weekly lockdown bulletin
  • Check up on each other’s Bible memorisation
  • Pray systematically through the church contact list so nobody is forgotten or neglected

To those who are not in our church and perhaps not believers:

  • Forward the daily devotionals and WhatsApp messages to show them the grace of the Lord which sustains you
  • Engage them regarding their fears and worries and explain to them the relevant portions of God’s Word
  • Be like light and salt (Matt 5:13-16) to them in your always-joyful, always-gentle, always-thankful (Phil 4:4-6), and never grumbling (Phil 2:14-15) attitude and conversation

The Lord has ordained this time for us. He will accomplish much good through it. We can leave it in His hands and focus our attention on our faithfulness to Him in our own godliness and in our witness to the world.

the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Galatians 6:8-9
